Our Parent Company
Taipanco Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 22nd day of May 2003 and started operation in March 2004. The Company is involved in container haulage business and its main core business activity is container transportation. Started business operation in 2004 with a total fleet of 10 prime movers and over the years has increased its fleet capacity to 197 prime movers with trailers more than 600 units (20 footer & 40 footer) with a staff strength more than 300 staffs within the Group.
Taipanco Sdn Bhd is the single largest operator of side loader equipment under the brand “Hammer Maskin” in the world (source: http://hammar.com.my/company). Each equipment costing more than half a million in Ringgit Malaysia and we have a total of 32 units with a combined strength of Taipanco Sdn Bhd and Shallas Sdn Bhd (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Taipanco Sdn Bhd ). The Company is headed by a Chairman and assisted by 3 directors whom has specific functions in running the company.
The Board of Directors is then assisted by Departmental Managers reporting directly to the respective directors. In 2012 the Board of Directors decided to diversify its business activities to other logistics and non-logistics related business as part of their business expansion plan and long-term growth. The Company started to ventured into business such as Container Yard Management, Workshop, Warehousing, Forwarding, Freight Forwarding and Oil & Gas. It acquired Shallas Sdn Bhd (involved in container haulage and workshop), Jambatan Merah Depot Sdn Bhd ( container yard operator) and Vector Logistics Sdn Bhd ( forwarding arm).
This strategic acquisition gave Taipanco Sdn Bhd an added advantage to compete strategically in its field of expertise. Having the concept of “Moving Forward Strategically” Taipanco Group of Companies is equipped with experience and dedicated team of staff who are constantly being trained and re-trained to provide the best logistics solution to all our valued customers.
